A place where feelings are shared, not judged

Founder & Developer, MoodAtlas
Hi, I am Mugil
I built MoodAtlas because I realised something simple but powerful: most social platforms are built around identity. Your name, your photo, your follower count - everything is tied to who you are publicly. But emotions don't always fit into that kind of space. Many people experience feelings every day that they can't share with the people around them - not because those feelings aren't valid, but because vulnerability becomes difficult when your identity is attached to everything you say.
MoodAtlas was created to remove that pressure. On this platform, you are not a profile or a username. You are simply a feeling.
When you share your mood on MoodAtlas, it appears on a live world map. You can see that someone in Tokyo might be feeling anxious right now, someone in Lagos might be feeling calm, and someone just a few cities away might be experiencing the exact same emotion you are. Sometimes just seeing that others feel the same way can make the world feel a little less lonely.
The anonymous chat connects you with a real person who shares your emotional state at that moment - not because an algorithm predicted you would match well, but because both of you felt the same thing at the same time. No profiles to judge, no follower counts, no past history. Just two people talking honestly.
Confessions are another space within MoodAtlas where you can share things you've never said out loud. People read these words not to criticise, but to understand and respond with empathy.
Privacy was a core principle when building this platform. MoodAtlas is 100% anonymous. We do not require your identity, we do not sell your data, and we do not track you across the web. The only thing that matters here is honesty. MoodAtlas exists for a simple reason: to remind people that they are not alone in how they feel.
